If you could invent a new snow sport, what would it be called and what gear would it need?

That’s the challenge we threw to our Warren Miller fans this year—and the responses? As creative, chaotic, and cold-weather-inspired as you’d expect.

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of Warren Miller films our amazing partners put together an almighty prize pool so we asked our fans to dream up the next big thing in winter sport. From hilarious downhill contraptions to surprisingly well-thought-out hybrid sports, your entries made us laugh, scratch our heads, and wish we had a waiver on hand.

There were too many good answers to choose from. So, we divided our major prize winners into fun, themed categories that match both the Warren Miller spirit – fun, freedom, storytelling, and style – and the generous prizes provided by our brand partners, from lift passes and winter gear to resort stays and your very own Polestar electric vehicle to get you there.

Each winner was selected for their originality, relevance to the category, and that special “would-watch-this-in-a-Warren-Miller-film” energy.
